About Lumvex

Does the signature change how the product looks?

No. The signature cannot be seen with the naked eye; the colour, texture and packaging design of your product stay exactly as they are.

Which products can it be applied to?

It can go on the packaging and on the product itself. The range runs from printed surfaces such as carton, label and foil to metal parts, textile yarn and coatings; a different carrier is used depending on the surface.

Who uses the reader?

A fixed reader on the production line, a handheld reader in the field, and a phone attachment across wide dealer networks. Devices are registered, so you see who read what and where.

Does our production line have to change?

No. The signature is applied within your existing printing and coating steps; the speed and layout of your line are preserved.

Can the signature be copied?

Because the signature is invisible, anyone trying to imitate it does not know what to copy. Without the right reader, its presence cannot even be detected.

Are readings kept anywhere?

Yes. Every reading is recorded together with the product, the location and the person who made it, and lands in your reports.

General

General questions

Is a special device needed for verification?

Yes, the signature appears only with the right reader. A fixed reader on the line, a handheld reader in the field, a phone attachment at the dealer and a registered device for authorised personnel are used; which one you need follows from where the product is checked.

Is the signature visible to consumers under light?

The signature is invisible under everyday lighting. It appears only under a defined light source; who can read it is decided at setup.

Is training needed for reading?

The reading step is simple and quick to learn. One answer stands on the screen: the signature is there or it is not. Field teams start using it after a short briefing.

What happens to unreadable or unmatched attempts?

Every attempt is counted and reported. No reading is quietly dropped; rising failed readings in a given region are reported to you.

Setup and operation

Setup and operation

How is the starting point decided?

Which surface the signature goes on, and how, is decided together from your product, packaging and line. Your unit volume and line structure set the scope of the setup.

How long does setup take?

Setup happens once and is completed within your planned maintenance window. The duration follows a timeline drawn up together from your production steps and volume.

Can we run a trial first?

Yes. The signature is applied to a small batch and the reading result is verified; you decide from the data.

How are our teams trained?

Your operators and field team learn to use the device through a short training session.
